NoelOne
When trying to load Skyrim AE I get an ErrorEngineFixes.Dll error Rel/Relocaction.h(567) failed to open file. Have updated SKSE, (64 Bit) Newest patch to Skyrim Win 10 fully updated. When I checked the Vortex log it mentions that it failed to find Python. I've got Python so I'm confused. :/ It then says "[gamestore-uplay] uplay launcher not found error=The system cannot find the file specified" What did I break and, how do I fix it? showler
You probably either don't have the Address Library mod installed, or the wrong version.
NoelOne
I installed Address Library as one of my 'fix' attempts before I posted and it didn't change anything. :/ I am assuming that the file on Nexus is the proper one? I can't play Skyrim SE (AE?) and even trying to launch from Steam (without SKSE) fails. I'm basically a 'user' with gravely outdated Programming PC skills and this one has stumped me. (Edit) Contacted Bethesda support about the issue and their suggestion was 'Uninstall everything (including Steam ) and reinstall it all. I'm not ready for that drastic a 'fix' and I'm not sure I trust them on it. Edited December 21, 2021 by NoelOne
Solution rmm200 Posted December 22, 2021 Solution Share Posted December 22, 2021 You can get AE working, but it is not an exercise for the faint of heart. You will have to go to the mod page for every single mod, including Engine Fixes, and look for an updated AE version.Your Engine Fixes messages indicates you have the wrong version of that. You will get more specific help on the Skyrim Technical Support page. We really just do Vortex problems here.
