jacob011
Hi guys, I'm considering creating custom class .. in fact I already have it. It's derived mainly from Spellsword class...Could you suggest me some names for my class? HERE are some guidelines:My what-ever-is-his-class character relies on combined knowledge of blade(uses only one handed swords, no axes etc.) and magic (focusing on destruction, restoration, conjuration). He studies a lot. He could possibly lead an elite team of Blades or be in some sort of commanding position in emperor's army... If you can't come up with anything I'll settle with Spellsword. Just thinking there might be some of you who get this kind of ideas faster and more original. THX in advance... :thanks:
nosisab
Hmm, I use the Antamage class but I fear the name will not make sense to non Brazilian users :) It labels something near the battlemage, indeed it's a class that makes a poor fighter and a poor mage in the beginning, but can lead to something almost semigod-like around the 15 level. This class relies on the blade and shield, destruction and restoration, armorer, conjuration and illusion (or some skill to boost speed/agility) ability as main. The idea behind this setup is than most of the not main skills will boost without leveling the player, allowing greater control of it. Yet this setup works very well with non vanilla leveling systems too... being Kobu's CAS "The great wheel" very good with it. Conjuration works very well with blade and shield for 'training' and leveling purposes (intelligence, constitution and strength), illusion gives a good way to boost personality and destruction may be used in the first combo to help enhance willpower too. For birthsign "The thief" is very good and the Orientation will be balanced with any, here is the player's taste the main factor in the choice, commonly I choose Magic. This character is the almost perfect user for the Afinity scripts, where the speed, agility and mainly the luck (from The Thief) are the main responsible for such. PS: Ohoh, I'm understanding everything wrong today. To a name... well... I like Antamage yet, but as already told, it may do small or no sense at all. madman132
"Fable" makes a Suggestion. People who kill monsters with swords and magic are called "Spellwarrior". "Swordmage" would be my Suggestion, it fits when you mostly use magic.

SavageArtistry
Spellblade? Spell Knight? Mage Knight? Blade Magus? Blade Mage? Enchanted Swordslinger? I dunno. *shrug*
Hra Krak
How about "swordcaster" or even, that you mentioned military attatchment, an " Cast-officer" ? " Spellseargent"? "Arcanum-warrior"? that is a hard one to play with, I generally disclude the mage side of my characters because of my fixation with sword and shield tactics...hardly use magic at all. Good luck with your choice.
