I can't believe that a simple mod like this does not exist yet!

Good evening everybody!

I just decided to come back to Oblivion after a few years of playing Skyrim and Fallout 4.

One of my favourite creatures of Oblivion were the Scamps.

I don't know why exactly but I just liked those little things.

I can't believe that nobody has made a scamp - follower mod yet.

I mean, how long has this game been out?

2008? Something like that ...

And nobody (as crazy as me) has made such a mod.

(Or I am just too stupid to find one)

I'm guessing you preferred a follower mod because the staff was too tedious.

No, it just has been a long time since I last played Oblivion.

That's why I didn't immediatley think of that staff.

Actually I like the "staff" thing more then just having a follower scamp.

Because with the staff, there is a in-game reason for the scamp(s) to follow you around.

That's fair. Glad to know there isn't much of a problem if the staff is preferred in the end anyway.

I got a bit into Oblivion but unfortunately peeled away in favor of Skyrim. I'm guilty for it since Oblivion is widely acclaimed to be an amazing game... I just need to put more effort into playing it.

I've been scolded for it but I've only ever heard of Scamps from word of mouth or Monster Mod / Immersive Creatures. Although I'm not too knowledgeable on the subject... I do love their names.

If you want a simple mod that gives you a permanent scamp that follows you around and fights on your side... I can whip that up for you.

Thanks, that is a very nice offer, but like I said I actually prefer the "Staff of the Everscamp" that is in the vanilla game.

That way there is an actual "lore" explaination for why my character would just have a (or more) scamp(s) following them around.
