alexsl2174
Hi i'm trying to get to install all the mod show into this picture. Normally i should have what I need, but I must have made a mistake since when i press on play it doesn't even open. I was made aware after googling that because of Skyrim special edition update the SKSE needed to be updated, but i'm not sure if it happened or not.but with : "Preliminary AE build 2.1.4 (runtime 1.6.342): 7z archive"or theCurrent SE build 2.0.20 (runtime 1.5.97): 7z archiveboth don't work at all. Here is a capture of all my mod
rmm200
You are in for a hard time of it. To start, do this:"Go to your steam installation folder, then browse to \steamapps\common\skyrim . Right click the TESV.exe file and select properties. The version number should be displayed in the details tab." Write this down.Your SKSE must match the Skyrim version. Look on skse.silverlock.org.For your specific case, and the mods you like, I highly recommend you not run AE. All the mods you have do not have AE versions yet.If you stick with AE, you have to go to the mod page for each of your mods and see if there is an AE version. If you want to roll back to Skyrim SE - there is a mod for that. Install the rollback mod and activate the appropriate non-AE SKSE. Deploy - and done. alexsl2174
It's not that i want to particulary run with AE, but it seem that's what ill have to do i think since according to you explanation AE is the one for my version.
showler
First thing I'd try is clicking on the down arrow next to the 2.1.4 in your mods tab and hitting the minus button thingy to remove the 2.0.2 version. Just in case there are some conflicting files or somesuch. Then, check to make sure that SKSE is set to the default launch option in the dashboard. alexsl2174
Hi ! There is no down arrow next the the 2.1.4 for the SKSE. Also in the dashboard i dont see an option for launch, but i did click on the 3 dot next to the play button on Skyrim Script extender, then click on Make primary wich I think is what you ment. But even if thats the case it still doesnt open anything when i try to launch
rmm200
Let me try again. You have an incompatible set of mods for the AE version of Skyrim.Disable all your mods. Enable the AE version of SKSE. Deploy. See if Skyrim launches. Report back.
alexsl2174
Ok hi yes it did open with the AE version. Well then if you were right hopefully not too much of the mod are not with AE.
rmm200
Most of the ones in your list will NOT work with AE. You have to check each one. This is why I suggested using the patch mod to roll back from AE. AE gives you nothing - except headaches. Oh - and maybe Fishing. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57618
