7531Leonidas
Just wanted to know for future reference, I plan on choosing what I do/do not want to use. Will it be as easy as selecting disabled in Vortex, or will I have to use Beth's mod management in the start-up screen? Thanks!
Mercury71
Content Picker maby? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/58890 Or just downgrade with "best of both worlds", https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57618
7531Leonidas
Thanks for the reply, I am still on SE, not the 1.6xxx AE. I will soon be finishing my current play through, and then update to AE. I was just trying to get a handle on how to make sure that the mods I want are the ONLY ones running. I don't even want Survival Mode. I know that a lot of ppl really like the nitty gritty stuff, I don't. I will have enough to deal with when I change over to Dyndolod 3, drop about half of my current mod list, and replace them with even more stuff... I will probably have nightmares about conflict resolution patching in SSEEdit.

I did update and also even bought the extra "Aniversary Upgrade"-package. Running 304 active mods atm with no issues.Dyndolod 3 is great, doubt you will have any major problems with it, i used latest version (alpha-58) on my current list. :)
showler
I believe the only way to not have the CC content active is to move the files out of your data directory after they've downloaded.
dervishd
Shower is right. You can't disable them from Vortex, not sure why but the option is not there. In my case, I just didn't like the elemental arrows that one of the mods adds (too many arrows types already drop with loot). The naming is quite different, you'll recognize the .esl from CC right away. Then deleting or moving the files does the trick.
Moksha8088
This BBC history documentary gives a reliable way of coping with any CC content that might appear in the game. When you see the content, just say the word "Macbeth" and react accordingly. Hope that helps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h--HR7PWfp0
7531Leonidas
TY, Moksha - but I already have 600+ mods, and being forced to add another 70+ (paid version) , or even the four AE mods, creates/created a host of problems. I would hope that you would understand that I simply want to CHOOSE what content exists in my game, or failing that, how to modify it. To the other posters, TY for the information.
