OldschoolDaydreamer
I guess i have to delete some mods then.. DAMN! Oh, one more thing. What mods actually damage game? simple armor mods or those which works all the time (i mean frostfall or other mods which uses scripts)? And yeah, i lied, i told you number of esp files. I have 147 mods (most of them animations, armors, weapons and variuos immersion things).. Edited August 29, 2013 by OldschoolDaydreamer
bben46
You shouldn't have to delete the mods, just deactivate them until after you exit the cave. It's the scripted mods that cause problems - It would be rare for any of those mod scripts to actually be doing anything in Helgen - but they are still running and that causes problems with the Helgen scripts that will stop after the tutorial. To add to what bben has said, if you want to just skip Helgen altogether without having to deal with it, then use some of the Alternate start mods. This one is the top community favorite, as well as my personal favorite. Link: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9557 Even if you don't want to use it at all, you can just use it for testing instead. OldschoolDaydreamer
Well, i have delete several mods and there has been some changes. No lag, CTD and freeze occur. Firstly i thought it's finally working fine because i deleted "realistic wildlife" mods, but now noticed, that CTD's and freezes came back after i enabled IMCN (Imp's more complex needs mod). After i enabled it, 30min of gameplay and game started to lag, freeze and crash again. Later i will try to play again with IMCN disabled and it will be clear, is this mod really crashing my game

Here's the link: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26228/? I definitely recommend that you use RND and see how that helps out your game. RnD also has MCM support, so it can be edited, and even uninstalled from in the game. Very useful. Let me know how that goes. GlassDeviant
I had to disable all scripted mods (except Alternate Start - Live Another Life, for obvious reasons) to create a new game, and then reactivate them once I got to Riverwood. Even then, I had many problems with a great number of mods. The worst offenders seemed to be so-called "realism" mods that introduce a lot of complex scripts that are running all the time. Now I am running a very pared down set of mods that I consider essential to my enjoyment of the game and I have almost no CTD problems at all (118 hours into the game and only a handfull of CTDs in the entire game so far). OldschoolDaydreamer
Well, i've played it with IMCN disabled and it still crashes as hell.. Especially when i'm riding with horse. I don't know, if i disable more mods, it would be simply not interesting to play..How did this guy managed to run skyrim perfectly with all those mods?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTLa2AOS5_Q Oh and whiterun soldiers still attack me with no reason. Does anyone know any cheat or smth to calm them down? Edited September 3, 2013 by OldschoolDaydreamer
