Issues installing/launching the Skyrim LE Creation Kit when utilizing Vortex?

As title states, having an issue while trying to utilize Creation Kit for the first time.

 

Installed through Steam, tried to boot there and via the .exe itself and every time it launches, opens up for a few seconds, and then immediately closes with no error message.

Frankly I'm not sure what the problem is, and googling around didn't really help clarify anything.

 

Would greatly appreciate any assistance on this matter

If it's not starting via the EXE then you game may be missing key files. If you can, I strongly recommend upgrading the Special Edition and using that CK instead.
