Hey Switch, I didn't mean to implicate YOU in MY "cheating", or anything else for that matter... I was simply drawing on your use of "unbalanced" items to make my point. In re-reading my post though, it does sound like that's what I was doing or trying to do: I apologize for that. I get to rambling sometimes ya see...

lol its np baph dont stress :P

neways yeah i agree, i'd much rather see a well thought out balancing mod that fits in with the world than some unbalancing mod that took 5 mins...

i have a load of unbalancing mods, but unless u can learn how 2 use the CS properly i dont think its really worth releasing ur works 2 the general public, which is why i keep my mods to myself or anyone else who actually says they WANT to use them :P

Alaways worth play testing mods first as well. My mate has done a load of mods (its all he does with the game I think his highest character is about level 4) and he has passed therm to me to review prior to releasing them. When I get some time I hope to sit down and write a review which he should then be able to post with the mods.

Nothing wrong with the official mods either (thats all I use) they all seem reasonablly well balanced

Im a purist but no to the extreme, I use creeper but i dont bother with the whole buy/sell/rest crap i just sell my ebony shortswords for 5K. the only mods I use are the standard ones, No-Glo and my own personal mod that puts a little meat on the bones of the charecters, makes argonian water breathing a auto-ability (i figure at 5magicka for a 120 second waterbreathing it might as well be constant effect), increases the power of azura's ring slightly -25pt night eye, restorefatigue 5pts, and resist paralyze 25%- (I was really disapointed the first time i got that thing, 20pts night eye and restore fatigue 3pts.), and changes the icon of the necromacers amulet to use that cool deadric amulet one with the red crecent.

The first time I play through something, I usually do it with no mods. Then I go back through with a different character (usually race and class also), and play with *hopefully* balanced mods. Meanwhile, I may start playing around with uber stuff for my first character. Depending on the game, I may play some more with *regular* characters, while occasionally playing with *godly* characters, or I will just have fun with *godly* characters and see how far I can push the game.

Right now, I'm playing through Morrowind with my second *regular* character, about half the time. The other half, I play with my character that's already finished it and Tribunal, and which I have adjusted most stats and abilities to 5000 (don't put speed or acrobatics above 500, unless you want to spend most of your time in orbit and flying through walls), and run around just exploring and talking to people (although, I do plan on making a town-killer spell and having some fun with it, hhmm, or maybe a summon Fargoth one <_< :D )
