Fallout 1 and 2 remakes in New Vegas

Hi I am wondering is there a way for someone to continue the work to recreate the first 2 Fallout games in the New Vegas engine as mods or is it an unfinished project all together? I've been wanting to play 1 and 2 but the isometric view and hard to use controls seem to stump me.

Fallout 1 is a magnificent game setting wise. I'd recommend you just grind through it for the story.

For Fallout 1 remake, people claim to still be working on it but no results. I have a mariposa military base mod that I published and it is expanding south to the lost hills at the moment, but it isn't an exact remake (I want to make it fun for new vegas instead of worrying about mimicking every detail)

Ya I found Fallout hard to play because the interface seemed unintuitive . But it might have been because I played Baldurs Gate back when they came out , and didn't try fallout until after first playing Fo3 .

Which I really liked the infinity engine compared to what fallout used ... and wish since they had Interplay and Black Isle in common ... that they would have used that engine.

Would have been better imo ... but that's just me I suppose . And I know many people do prefer the actual turn based flow of the early fallout games.

But I do wish I had found fallout back then , because I was into the genre ... from having played Gamma World table top game.

If you have Fallout 4 then Fallout 1 is being remade using it, it looks promising (1) Fallout: Vault 13 (@FalloutVault13) / Twitter

Modders ran out of content ideas ? BwaHahaha ,,, of course they did with such a platform ... was just Skyrim for Fallout ? But limitations made/gave what it is ?

Which I guess really is not known yet ... some totally off base uses could still come out of it.
