The Pantheon. Oh what dream.

I know this might be a pipe dream seeing as how big the mod would have to be in order for it to be aesthetically pleasing and anatomically correct but has any one ever thought of making the Roman building, Pantheon? It's not a home but a "temple" for every God in Rome, but In this case every God in Oblivion. here are some pictures of the building just to give an idea of the massiveness of this mod and to give some one the inspiration to create such a feat. http://atheism.about.com/od/christianchurc...terior-Rome.htm

I hope some day to see this mod available for download in the most beautiful and quality form. I ask only that dedicated modders take on this challenge for it will be just that, a challenge. :thanks:

P.S. Any comments or thought would be greatly appreciated and may even be influential to some actually making this mod. Think about it a HUGE beautiful temple unlike any temple throughout Cyrodiil. If any one does decide to take this on please message me for any ideas. :thanks: again!

This is cool. I've been studying stuff like this and think it would be very interesting to have people put it in game. A mod that brings you closer to the gods, yes? Maybe they'll let you carry on your name, and even give you special options to be real earth-related gods like Ra or Anubis. I also think it would be cool if someone made a quinqereme.

Some of these are of Triremes apparently, which is probably a smaller version.

I'm working on something very similar except the exterior is going to look more like this.

I'm glad you posted this. I like the interior of the Pantheon and can use it for this structure. Let me know if you would be interested in this building.

Thanks. I'm glad I posted this too. Exanimis, I like the style of the building. However, in my opinion I think if you shortened the halls on both sides, raised the awning & add MORE columns, and added Giant statues where the doors are on the hall ways and the doors beneath the statues, it would be pretty awesome... The way it looks now is some what similar to the Pantheon. either way I like the concept of having the Pantheon or some thing close to it in the world of Oblivion. I'm also excited to know that there are people who are interested in this as well.

I try to make things different from the images that I get ideas from. Here is what I've got so far.

You can't really see it in this screenshot but it has a double door at the top of the stairs and single doors leading to the walkway behing the pillars. The areas to the sides of the stairs are for a garden. I'm going to place statues in the garden, one on either side of the area at the bottom of the stairs and I'd like to put gargoyles around the top. So far I'm calling this a temple. I still need to add windows and a few other items but I'm getting there.

That looks steller!

It looks aesthetically pleasing. I like it but the one thing I would change is the spires on both sides would look nicer if they were a lot taller. Other than that I like it. It has some aspects of the Pantheon which is what I'm looking for in my mod request. Nice work so far. I give you Kudos just on your hard and dedicated work.
