7531Leonidas
Like SE 1.5.97, 1.6+, or specific 1.6 version? This could/would make finally changing over to 1.6+ much easier... (Please forgive if this has been covered, I did a search for tags, and saw no specific answer, maybe just looked in wrong forums.)
showler
There are plans for game version numbers to be added to the "requirements" section, though not soon. In this case, the number of mods where it matters is incredibly small relative to the number of mods available. Which SKSE version is compatible is the main concern, not which game version, so that info is just included with the downloads. Also, any mod with multiple versions would need multiple tags and that would cause issues. Block the "1.6" tag and you wouldn't see any mod that has versions for 1.5 and 1.6. Pickysaurus
There is a tonne of misinformation about "AE" still floating around. The important thing to note is that very few mods care which game version you have. There's a list on the wiki here: https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins
7531Leonidas
Thanks for the responses, I just found one mod not listed on the modding.wiki site: No Follower Attack Collision (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/65037). I was just trying to see if there was a simple(er) way to narrow a search for version specific mods. It will be bad enough for me adjusting/dropping/patching 800+ mods from my 1.597 set up... showler
Unless you have 800+ mods that use SKSE, you can narrow that significantly. You'll likely only be concerned with mods that have DLL files in the SKSE/Plugins folder.
7531Leonidas
Yeah, EXCEPT for the ones that have a prerequisite that requires SKSE. I am not trying to be difficult, it just took me very many hours and trial-and-error to get my LO squared away a couple of years ago, and I certainly haven't gotten any more proficient during this interval, due to no practice. Personal preference is to be able to make some kind of plan before I actually start, as I get too confused and frustrated any other way. Just to be clear, I accept your arguments, your responses were what I needed, and will be looking to narrow down my new game candidates, and refreshing myself on which of my self-made patches must be removed...
