Kaningutten
Or it means that gloves comes in pairs, and cannot be separated... :D I doubt they've got a dynamic cloth-system working just yet... At least not one so advanced and detailed. Though I hope I'm wrong!
Switch
Or it means that gloves comes in pairs, and cannot be separated... :D I doubt they've got a dynamic cloth-system working just yet... At least not one so advanced and detailed. Though I hope I'm wrong!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I tend to agree with Tor on that one. ;) Still a very nice effect though. The shadows... oo the shadows. I can hear my system scream in agony. But wow... that first pic is very nice indeed. :D The second one looks like everything is smoothed to overkill (is this that "bloom" effect everyone is talking about?). Still, yet more examples of the incredible and possibly system damaging graphics engine. ^^
Abramul
I thought 'bloom' referred to excessive reflection...although, I would think reflections would be harder than shadows. Switch, by the time this comes out, be sure you have a better computer...I know I'm gonna have to.
edstamos1
Notice the position of the gloves- this signifies something very important. See how the topmost one is draped over the bottom one? THat must mean that 'soft' objects placed over one another have gravity and fall or rise according to their position, or the new CS has the ability to alter the position of such objects. Either way, we have moved out of the era of stiff, static objects.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was going to mention that. Something tells me it's actually a pair of gloves as Tor mentioned, but if they actually have 'soft' meshes - imagine the possibilities...
Slaiv
*GASP* Actually flowing cloaks? Unlike those massive, ugly, user-developed ones? *Runs out and buys everyone a round* Bloom is a technique of reflection/lighting. It refers to the thechnique of an object emitting light from all around it/in certain parts. It's dynamic, hower, based on position. Other than that, I can't tell you much. Slaiv
Several user-sheaths have been developed, but have not been very smooth... Nice addition. Let's just hope BethSoft pays as much attention to detail on teh rest of the game.
