VG_King
I personally like both Fable and Halo 2. But they both weren't as good as the companies said they would be. Fable I feel was way too short, and Halo 2 wasn't as good as the first IMO. I also heard that many of my friends and others from my school say the same exact things. What do you people think? valdir
Halo 2 is over-hyped crap. I loved Fable, even though it failed to deliver what was originally promised. But Halo 2, jesus. I just played multiplayer for two hours and wasn't convinced that I was actually playing Halo TWO but a patched version of the original. It was kinda fun, but not OMFG AMAZZZING as everyone thought it would be. Deathmatch is STILL deathmatch, kids. That is all for now. EDIT- You forgot the comedy option "DOOM THREEE" <_<
VG_King
I completely agree with everything you've said. And is it just me or does it seem like they are dragging out Halo's storyline... Are they going to make another Halo for every friggin' ring they gotta blow up!?
postaldudeleo
I thought Halo 2 was great. Fable was better. The storyline wasn't as good but whatever. I rather have a thief 4 or deus ex 3.
FlightlessBird
Fable-Dissapointment, but still gave me 14 hours of fun. And yes, I do have a LOT of spare time... <_< Halo2- Like it, new guns=happy, storyline=not as revalutionizing as the first, End of game= pm me if you want my opinion, dont want to spoil. Dinin
Fable was definately the bigger dissapointment. I thought i was going to have as much freedom as i did in Morrowind. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game, but a dissapointment all the same. I just played Halo 2 tonight. I was hating it out of spite just because everyone was talking about it non stop. I knew it was going to be good, but i hated all the morons that talked as if the game was turning them on. I was satisfied with the few minutes of multiplayer that i played. The game is more intense, the human guns seem more realistic and intense, and things seem more well rounded. Sometimes you really need duel weilding, but at the same time, there are moments that you absolutely need a grenade. It seemed like everything balanced itself out. Another thing, there is a freakin million things to do. One of my good friends got the game the night it came out, has been playing for hours, and is just barely scratching the surface of the game. So many game types, he's only played online once. Him and some other people just played a game type called Swordball, he said it was one of the most intense games he ever played. I hated it out of spite a while ago, and now...i think i'll diss the game a little less.
Switch
I haven't played Halo 2 yet, so I can't say anything about that. Fable wasn't really much of a disappointment at all, sure it didn't live up to their original boasts when Project Ego was first announced, but it's still a very good above average RPG with interesting storyline and non-linear gameplay. Not as free as Morrowind mind you, but it doesn't exactly railroad you either. Plus the way your character changes is a very cool feature. Personally I think a lot of these people who say "OMFG THIS GAME IS TEH SUK DO NOT BUY IT!11!" are being a little bit melodramatic. I got 70 or so hours gameplay out of it. It was great. :P No disappointments here, anyway. :P

VG_King
One main thing I hated about Fable was that no matter what you do, your character will always look like everyone elses, except whether or not you have a halo or horns, or your different hair, beard or moustache. Or tattoo. I have 6 friends that have the game and I checked out all of their characters. All of them looked just like mine with different armor and hairstyles. Mine was different only becuase I had blue markings on my skin for raising all of my characters stats to max. As far as scratches and scars go, unless you use the physical shield at the begginning, everyone's face will be messed up with all kinds of markings. Your characters in Fable aren't really distinguished from other players's. No matter what you do, the main character in Fable will always look the same, just with different accessories. loveme4whoiam
I haven't played Halo 2 yet, but if its anything like the firts one i'll give it a wide berth. Fable is looking very nice, and i might be tempted to go and buy it after working my way through HL2 for the forth time :D What VK_King says about Fable might be true, but unfortunately that seems to be the way games are going at the moment. Take Unreal 2. I completed that in 5 hours, and about 1 of those was just the loading times :angry2: . Anyone else agree with this point (about Fable mainly. If i'm going to buy it i don't want to throw £40 down the drain for just a couple hours entertainment).
