I will provide an arguement and then supply a popular counter argument.

I'm all for warm toilet seats. For one thing, sitting on a cold toilet seat in the dead of winter during a midnight run is like jumping into... something really cold, ass first no less. Warm toilet seats bring comfert to an area that doesn't reseve much attention (that'd be my butt, thanks) and it feels nice.

However, (and here's the counter arguement) warm toilet seats also mean that the seat was recently heated by some other human's mighty ass-warmth, and is very disturbing to think about.

That's it from me: discuss! :ranting:

I actually taught my self to go to the toilet without using the toilet seat from an early age (8ish) after watching a documentary about the Australian Outback toilet seat spiders which hide in the toilet and bite your arse.

Since then I haven't use the toilet seat -- so my opinions would be invalid.

I would like to say that this way does have its uses (children who haven't heard of putting the seat up when going for a number 1, for instance!).
