simonp92
I have just found these news on the Wiki UESP: Although Bethesda had previously stated that Fighter's Stronghold would be the last Official Plug-in for Oblivion, vice president for PR and Marketing Pete Hines has suggested that there will be one more some time in 2009. In a Gamasutra interview, Hines commented on Oblivion's continuing popularity and stated that the company are "getting ready to do something else with Oblivion this year". He declined to give further details: when asked what the statement meant, he replied "Oh, I'll let you know". As the main gameplay styles have been covered - Fighter's Stronghold for combat, Wizard's Tower for magic, Vile Lair for evil, and Thieves Den for stealth, it has been suggested that another more general mod such as Knights of the Nine may be in the pipeline. I dont know about you guys, but I would like a new quest line in the same manner as KOTN :D

GH4LIFE
I still haven't bought the Fighter's Stronghold... Is it any good?
Deleted269910User
You're not the onlyones excited, as this could really breath some fresh air into the game and increase the replay value even more. I'm simply keeping my expectations low until I see the official announcement. Currently having my focus on FO3 and Broken Steel. If this is indeed true, Oblivion will once again gain some life and with me hopefully getting my new graphics card and more RAM after the summer, this would be the perfect thing to come back on. @GH4LIFE, TFS was a decent, if a bit bugged plugin, but with the unofficial patch, it did become a nice home. Still, there are more grand castle homes, with quests, available from the modding community as it stands.

worm82075
Right after FO3 came out I suggested on the BethBlog that they could easily package up player made mods and release them on the xbox360. Who knows maybe they decided to do something like that.
white_dragoon_x
i dont think that they would package user made material because they would never make money (except for those x-box users that "cant stand pc gaming" quoted from one of my friends.) plus the fact they would have to pay the makers for their work (yes its their game but they modders have made it their own and put in their own time.) judging by the history of their dlc's oblivion's creators will probably release something that is either useless or great. (horse armor was useless to me and shivering isles was great when the door actually opens for me.) but i think its far more likely that they will release another game instead of a dlc. (or if they do release another they will start the production of a new game) either way im certain there will be "the elder scrolls V" but dont take this at face value i have no clue either way. simonp92
plus the fact they would have to pay the makers for their work (yes its their game but they modders have made it their own and put in their own time.)HAHA, Bethesda owns every mod made for their games.. read the EULA.. OH, P.S your sig is way too big.. Reported

OH, P.S your sig is way too big.. Reported You're wrong aswell simon. The only thing Bethesda owns are the plugins, what Beth doesn't own are the scripts, meshes, textures etc. the modders have made. Basically Beth only owns the construction set, the basic plugins, but nothing which it hasn't provided itself, regardless of what the EULA might state.(If the EULA does state it owns absolutely everything, the EULA itself is breaking the law, making everything in it null.) Anyway, let's stick to the main topic.
