After too much time using Killer Keos Skimpy armors for CBBE you can find here http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3654//? , I NEVER managed to get it right with some armors.

I'm attaching an example picture of my problem.

I've posted this in the respective mod's thread, but I guess with so many people posting replies everyday, nobody will ever see my by-now-hidden question in the dozens of pages that thread already has (and counting).

So, I install the mod after CBBE body mod, and whatever the textures I use in CBBE, some armors ALWAYS display some type of texture / mesh glitch in the waist zone. This is visible in the Dwarven, City Guard, Forsworn and Ebony armors, with the last two being the more noticeable ones. And this is really bad, because I love the armor design by Killer Keos, and that is surely the worst with this problem. Some other armors also display this glitch, but when it happens under the skirt, I'm ok with that. The armors in the picture, tough, they don't have any way to hide the problem...

I though it would be a texture problem, so I installed a few other texture packs for CBBE, but none of them made a difference.

So I ended up installing this mod here http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13004/? , by Mak, it replaces the vanilla armors with an anime style armors, while keeping the same base textures. I like them too, altough sometimes I would like to have a more lore-friendly design, with a bit more of the body covered. Gets the immersion out of the game, when I'm traveling in the snowy areas with these "bikini-style" armors :D . For now, I only have 2 or 3 of these armors in use, while most of them are Killer Keos ones.

So, has anyone experienced this with Killer Keos armors? I will not have a reply from the author so soon, as he stated in his mod page, he is away from the modding for the time being, due to personal reasons.

Thank you!

Quite simply, some of those outfits are for CBBEv2, and some are for CBBEv3. Keo has yet to update the v2 outfits to v3, which is why that occurs.

As it says in the FAQ, CBBEv2 does not exist any more, and you can not download it.

Wait for Keo to update his/her mod, or use another mod to replace the affected meshes.

Not going to happen, Keo is currently away from modding.

Is nobody using v2 somewhere, can't it be downloaded via p2p or something? Maybe some user here in the forums still has the files as a record? I hate being stuck like this... :/

The CB++ mod, as far as I'm aware, has all of the outfits converted to the CB++ version of BodySlide. You can use that.

Yes I see, those armors remind me the ones by Mak. Thats what I've done to solve the problem for now, even if I only use 2 or 3 of them, because they are way too skimpy for long-time play (I like them, I really do, but I appreciate a more body-covered pack of armors).

Those armours are conversions of MAK's stuff, not Keo's, and not what I meant. Also, I am certainly not a 'he'. :D

There is more you need to do after installing that mod. It's not a magical fix-all for issues; you actually need to do some work yourself. There's a video tutorial in the comments you can use, but simply:

1. Install BodySlide, CB++ and the CB++ files for Keo's mod.

2. Go to Skyrim/Data/CalienteTools/BodySlide, and doubleclick on the BodySlide++.exe.

3. (I don't use CB++, so I'm using this image to guide you) In 'Group Filter' (top left), you should be able to find one of Keo's outfits. Select it.

4. In Sliderset, use either the CB++ body, or if available, the normal CBBE/BodySlide one.

5. In Preset, select the CBBE Curvy body. It should be there. >.>

6. Click on BatchBuild, and wait for BodySlide to install the meshes. You're all done!
