Deseoso
One bizarre glitch that I've always had with my game is a strange deaf area in my sound radius. I've had this problem since before I even added my first mod. If I stand in front of an NPC who is talking and I turn 45 degrees to my left I cannot hear them at all. If I turn a bit further to my left then I can hear them again. The same thing does not happen if I turn to the right. It is kind of like my character is partially deaf in his right ear. Has anyone heard of this problem? Can it be fixed? Edited October 18, 2013 by Deseoso
Pevey
There is a lip sync issue with 1.9 that causes sound to go silent briefly when npcs start their lines. It sounds like what you're describing might just be that bug. Unfortunately, Beth introduced it with their last patch, and I don't think it will be fixed unless some genius figures out how to do it with a dll file. There is a small amount of hope. Stranger things have happened.
LargeStyle
Never heard of this problem before (no pun intended)! What sound setup do you have? On-board, internal or external, and 2.x, 5.x, etc.
