'Tools' on new dashboard...

Friendly feedback: I don't like the layout for tools on the new dashboard. Before, it was a nice, organized, compact section of my dashboard. Now it's taking up half the screen because there are only two columns. I think before it had 4 columns that were maybe 5 rows deep. Now it's two columns, 10 rows deeps, and takes up the majority of the dashboard.

 

Really hoping that can be changed back.

 

Currently looking for a picture of the dashboard before the recent update so I can show a before and after.

+1. I couldnt even find where to configure tools because suddenly it's scrolled off the bottom of the Dashboard

Hmm, I suspect this a Vortex window size thing, I have this:

my problem is that Vortex doesn't support separate sized tool windows for different games, every tools window is the size that I need it for Skyrim, which has the most tools!

It's not ideal that rather than replacing the old "Starter" this was an entirely new dashlet and as such it got inserted at the bottom of the list for most users.

I wholeheartedly agree. I tried to find the previous version(s) of Vortex just so I could get my tools back to how they were but couldn't figure out how haha. Please change the layout to how it was before. I found an old picture and figured I should upload it to show the difference in the layout for the TOOLS.

The first picture is my tool panel back in November 2021(I couldn't find a more recent picture), and the other two pictures are of my tool panel today. I love how compact the tools are in the first picture but I do like how the Skyrim SE Icon(the one with the picture of the dragonborn) was removed in the second two pictures. Can we get a dashboard that combines these two features?

No one seems to mention it - but open Settings, then Interface.

 

At the bottom, you will find a list of Dashlets you can enable / disable. I cleaned my Dashboard up a lot by disabling.

 

This seems like the right place to manage the Dashboard.

I just wish the Dashboard was displayed in this order, and we could arrange the order by dragging these selectors.

 

And actually - I have no idea what "BepInEx Support" is. I left it enabled - just in case.
