sgtKraigO
Do you think this mod will conflict with any of these mods? http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/38651//?http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/40139/?http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/48646//?http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/45557//? ToxicWhiteout
So far I'm using NCR Rearmament and Caesar's new Regime with no problems at all. This mod isn't changing default NCR troopers or any of the default legionaries, so it shouldn't conflict. Good question though :)
sgtKraigO
That's good to know. Also I was thinking, would it be better to move the attack of Ranger Station Delta to Ranger Station Bravo? Delta just seems to close to the Dam and Forlorn Hope for the Legion to launch a 3 sided assault on the place.

They might be able to retreat if the counter attack is to vigorous. But I can see how a simple assault would be possible and the Legion seems to place little value on life. If they were to attack Delta it would be best to have an infiltration mission. This would demoralize the NCR far more then a suicidal assault on the station as it wouldn't give them the feeling of winning a battle. At Bravo the Legion would have more tactical maneuverability since it's more open and any NCR reinforcements would take a while to get there. ToxicWhiteout
I agree, that's why the attacking force (even with 3 sides) is very small. I looked around for paths, and the legion can get to it from Forlorn Hope. Since the Battle version isn't 100% lore friendly (I try to keep it at least somewhat lore friendly, but the idea is just to make it a struggle to hold on to a lot of areas. I'll remove the Station Delta battle, or at least cut it down majorly.
ToxicWhiteout
UPDATE FOR MAIN MOD: Thanks to sgtKraigO's idea, I want this mod to make certain things happen when you complete certain quests. For example, when you complete the King's Gambit quest in certain ways like 1. Killing Pacer and everyone knows the NCR did it2. The NCR wipes out the Kings3. You assist the NCR in wiping out the KingsNCR troopers will spawn in certain areas in freeside to keep the violence down against NCR Citizens. Also, telling the Decanus Severus in Cottonwood Cove how to disable the NCR landmines will spawn some extra legionaries in areas that were previously uninhabited, and will allow for a very small legion camp to pop up on the road near Cottonwood Cove. I want to add more events like this, so please post suggestions for more of them.
sgtKraigO
How about the NCR occupies Vault 19 to extract the Sulfur for the war effort. They wouldn't need a lot of troops for this, mostly just a few scientists and some miners to populate the vault, it could also inadvertently populate Bonnie Springs. This could allow you to create a few quests as well since there are plenty of baddies in that area like cazadors, geckos, and some Death claws. You could also create some small animal pens to the north for Brahmin and Bighorners, this could be the towns export. Here are a few quests that I came up with, keep in mind that I just came up with them in the last five minutes so they maybe a bit dry. Kill X amount of cazadors between Goodsprings and Bonnie Springs (Optional: Destroy the nearby Cazador nests (this would be a more permenant solution))Contact (Insert name) at the Crimson Caravan Company to notify them that Bonnie Springs is now populated and willing to tradeKill X amount of DeathclawsDeal with some raiders who are killing the Bighorners and BrahminTalk to (Insert name) in goodsprings about setting up a well for Bonnie Springs Edit: The Vault would also need a doctor and a cook Edited November 18, 2013 by sgtKraigO

However, I could definitely implement some of your ideas. For example: If the player does the great khan route, I could add more great khans to Red Rock Canyon (or add a few great khan recruits. I'd have to do something that would make sense) as well as adding a few roaming Powder Gangers that don't want to join the Great Khans (who would be picked off very quickly. The directions they can go are through the fiends, through cazadores, through deathclaws, or stay there and wait for the NCR to eventually get them). If the player does the NCR route, I could add some NCR troopers in there as well as some miners for the sulfur. I don't think Bonnie Springs would hold, as there are gangs everywhere along with the cazadores and deathclaws. They could also go to Goodsprings. sgtKraigO
I was thinking that it would open up another trade route to new vegas and Bonnie Springs wouldn't survive unless the courier helped out by taking out the creatures in the area. The only raiders in that area are the Powder Gangers who would be gone by then, and the Khans, who I could see attacking Bonnie Springs if they haven't allied with the NCR or decided to move.
