Aragorn1234567891051
Yeah your right, but I want to do it in Anvil anyway as said before. Don't know if bandits are a good idea. What possible legion/rebels etc, would want to attack anyway? (From that direction thought in provinces, attacking Anvil). There are troubles in the summerset isles, but they're daedra related.Perhaps from valenwood, hammerfell or high rock? Ideas are welcome :DThe Nords of Skyrim could attack Bruma, or maybe Redguards from Hammerfell could attack Chorrol.Anvil is a port city, so it would make sense if the Imperial Navy battleships defend it, so Anvil and the Imperial City have the same defense power.Maybe some High Elves who think they are descendant of the Ayleids could try to "regain control of the empire". Slawter500
I'll sure tell you two about it. am i one of those two? During the attack maybe you would have to hold off the enemy forces until the legion arrive in anvil, maybe the enemy could be all of the bad factions Bandits pirates etc all unite to attempt to kill the emperor so that theyr law breaking remains easy to continue. If you made Martin emperor then the anvil guard could create a defensive line to protect him, if you yourself became emperor i think perhaps all the anvil guards may be hit by arrows, its easy to defend yourself but not an NPC. Maybe even the dark brotherhood except that would suck if you were emperor and listener
Pronam
Enough possibilitiesFortunately its at the end, so we don't have to choose right now :).

Pronam
Piece 1-A merchant close by picked up the amulet,he thinks that is only a precious red jewel, nonetheless he is attempting to sell it for an massive price(Regardless of Players money this is not buyable so he might have to say something like "You couldnt afford this if you and your children payed every penny they ever earned") You then ask if you could offer a service in exchange for the Shard of the Amulet, he will at first not agree but will eventually cave, his sons are missing and its up to you to find them(Ideas as to what happened to the sons are welcome although they should probably be alive,Trapped in a cave seems to obvious)---Maybe they were doing a contract to Fighters or Mages Guild. What do like to add? (obvious of course, but what else.) Just a little story of the quest/mission they were doing.
Argomirr
The Nords of Skyrim could attack Bruma, or maybe Redguards from Hammerfell could attack Chorrol.Anvil is a port city, so it would make sense if the Imperial Navy battleships defend it, so Anvil and the Imperial City have the same defense power.Skyrim, Hammerfell, Valenwood, they're all provinces of the Empire. The Empire's conquered all of Tamriel. It wouldn't really make sense if these provinces attacked Cyrodiil. If we don't want to 'kill' the lore, this isn't a possibility. What could be done, although highly unlikely to happen, is a rebellion. Perhaps a small group of people wants to become independent, and they gather an army to overthrow the Empire's rule in their province. Problem is that this wouldn't happen in Cyrodiil, and if it would happen in another province, the rebels would probably only try to free their province, and they wouldn't even come near Cyrodiil's borders. Yeah, ideas for wars between provinces are pretty limited, if not impossible. I haven't been able to come up with a possible enemy yet, but it's really hard to find a way that isn't lore-unfriendly. (That's probably why Bethesda came up with the Deadra invasion; wars between the provinces just won't fit in the lore.)
Slawter500
The count of Bravil is supposed to be a drunk and no do well as it says in one of bravils loading screens, perhaps he thought that a new emperor is a terrible idea and ordered his guards to attack but it doesnt matter right now wel come to the attack later

Pronam
Haha indeed. Only a rogue warlord or a group of rebels could partly fit in.I'll search into the lore for a little bit. Perhaps there's a gap somewhere. Don't know about the ayleids. But some high elves who want to return, could perhaps.
