I doubt she could remove the cadence she has going and I would hope she doesnt try, it sounds perfectly natural since it happens not just between 2 words but in the middle of a word. To say the least I guite enjoy her voice as it is and her accent everyone says is hardly noticeable but very noticeable to me makes it all the better. You can tell her that i said she has a wonderfull voice and I would enjoy hearing it anytime. Sadly she was underutilized for Interesting NPC's. her one bard is hard to find as she travels from inn to inn daily and another character has a rather short quest leading to losing the character altogether. and the third is only available during another quest. Sofia on the otherhand is not short lived or hard to find and makes me want her in my party all the more so i can listen to her make odd comments here and there. I would even enjoy having her along if she was nothing more than an average vanilla follower who made idle chatter more often than lydiot or vargas, no special quests or commands needed. But a complete mod to wait for is just as good.

wow. i am supremely impressed! the writing and voice work are impeccable. she's got one of my least liked hairdos but i've got wig and "change hair spell" mods for that. i'm eagerly awaiting this release. any rough release date?

oh, could you please give her her own skeleton? it makes for a bit more customization (daggers on back ect. all those great skeletons by XP32, Skullytyrant, naphorous ect). quite a few other follower mods are starting to implement this. all the mods by Donnyducky, the Selene Kate follower ect. i have a skeleton i like to use that has axes and hammers flipped the other way, with the metal weapon head up at the shoulders. unfortunately it's best used on a follower that you can control the weapons they use because greatswords get flipped upside down too lol. oh and make her capable of 2hd weapon fighting so she'll be decent with them heh

Sometimes I suppose it does take an outside perspective on things to notice.

Of all the things you showed us, nothing is more reassuring than this one sentence. So many people really don't realise this. This mod will be grand, and give my regards to the actress, she does a phenomenal job.

@jet4571 - Well I think I have said enough times how much I like her voice. I'm glad people share my opinion and I also really like her accent, which kind of makes her sound unique whilst not being totally obvious. Some people might notice it more than others, but at least it is quite soft and easy to understand. I never saw the bard in interesting NPCs but she made a good cowardly witch. It wasn't the most easy quest to find, but after a while I figured out that I had to sit down in some random chair. She has been in quite a few other mods though but the only other one I played that she was in was Falskaar. It will be a lot better for me whilst playing my own tailor made follower with her voice though.

@Mookeylama - Thanks. Her hair is pretty standard but it's probably the easiest thing there is to change about a follower. I will probably post a guide on editing her appearance when I release her. I will take the skeleton thing into consideration. She's more of a one handed character at the moment but I'm planning on making it possible to change in game.

Been away for awhile and reading all I've missed, and to be honest I never noticed the pattern on how the lines were delivered. And I myself could not see anyone else doing Sofia's voice, I think she owns it :) And as far as the nail breaking dialog goes, when I heard that line I laughed out loud because it was funny and not expected and Christine delivered it flawlessly in the moment. It's these little things that I enjoy, that makes it more immersive at least for me when your companion says something or does some you never expect them to say or do. So I'm happy to see your tweaking her dialog, but secretly hoping this won't push her release date back to much if at all.

P.S. As always thank you for sharing Sofia with us and thanks to Christine for giving her life in all it's awkward glory lol.

Thanks. Luckily it doesn't really affect the release date as Christine does several varied takes for each line so it doesn't require her re-recording and doing the editing all over again which are the time consuming parts. It just requires me to reselect a few takes, chop them up and replace them in the CK, and half the work is done in the CK already as the lines are already there, although it is still incredibly tedious. The pattern in speech wasn't extremely obvious and was emphasised by the lack of spacing in the videos I posted, but I have fixed that for the most important lines now and it seems people prefer the way I have done it this time.

Thanks. Obviously I cannot say for sure, all I can say is before June or July (it was one of those two) as that is when the voice actress will be unavailable for quite a while, although I will still continue to update the mod. It will most likely be released way before then though, but that is kind of the final deadline for the initial voice recording. Any further recording which would be much later on if I decided to do more would have to be discussed. I would say April seems realistic for a first release with any additional non-essential dialogue being added in over the following 2 or 3 months but that is just a very rough estimate.
