Timesplitters Mod in Development

Looks like we will see a return of the full TS series in the form of a mod

It's going to be a proper Crytek approved project with all the original assets and hopefully some extra content, accounting for the freedom of modding and all.

 

If it's anything as enjoyable as the Black Mesa mod is then I will be a very happy chappy :D

Aye, Black Mesa was terrific-hopefully they can create something around that level of quality.

Timesplitters? Wasn't that on Gamecube (well, the one I played was)? All I can remember was that it was freaking brilliant and I would love to see this mod!

I... think so. Alas I never got to own a copy, did play it at a friend's place a few times at a kid-it left some great memories-it was an amazing time in the gaming world.

I think it was on the GC, I had all three on the PS2 and played them all to death they were that fun. For a long time there was a fourth supposed to be made but got postponed and never made it into development, so I think because Crytek kinda made an empty promise they were more inclined to allow this to go ahead to make up. That's what I think anyway.
