Unable to place workbenches

Recommended Posts

I am having problems with several workbenches from the "Crafting" of the building menus. Attached is a screenshot I have of a power armor station. As you can see I am unable to place the item down no matter what I do. It does this for several other workbenches from the AWKCR mod as well. Not sure how to proceed from here. I figured I could try to bypass this by downloading other Power armor station mods but they become greyed out as well.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Attached is my mod list as well

I've run into this before, without looking too deeply into myself ATM, you may not have the prerequisite strength due to debuff, or some such.

Open up AE in FO4edit, and see what it is expecting, or... another mod is taking priority or useing a different perk ref ID for armorer.

From FO4edit you can always remove the armorer requirement if need be.

Is it just me, or does anybody else do this? I see the name of "This is Trash" mod and instantly think of Marcy Long!

But yeah. HY is correct. See that lock icon on Armorer? It's not recognizing that you have the required skill level.

If what Blinxys recommended doesn't work, maybe try putting Armorsmith Above the power armor mods you have, and then try it out on a test character. NOT your main character.

If that's not it, then move it back down to where you have it now.

Just make sure to unlock Armorer with Level 1.

Unfortunately, the fact that you have Armorer with Level 4 doesn't necessarily mean you have Armorer with Level 1.

They are two actual perks with own FormIDs. Workshop objects with a condition which contain "Armorer1" would return 0 so won't be able to build such objects.

(Most likely the workbench's Constructible Object has the Condition HasPerk "Armorer1" == 1, Run on: Player).
