The third chapter in the long-running Elderscrolls series, Morrowind offers an expansive RPG with an innovative magic system and open-ended gameplay. You are a convict released by the Emperor to fulfill an ancient prophecy, but are you up to the task before you?

Hi Robin! Thanks for all the help. I am looking forward to be a good participant.

Recently, I was looking at my Vaardenfel map and I remarqued that most of the expansion mods are in the southern, eastern or south-western regions. I have tried lots of mods but never found one that creates a big Island in the Sea of Ghosts which who could have been a very good spot for those Daedras, Vampires or Squelettic creatures with lots of undergrounds and Dungeons shaped like giant skulls or demon heads, maybe even aerial cities of Aedric ghosts. Isn't that a good idea to exploit that location a little further?

Here's other ideas...

About scales...

=========

When inside of a building, ceilings should be higher, especially when in a palace. Maybe someone knows how to rescript those scales???

About beautification...

==============

Why should Altmers (Hi-Elves) reside into mushrooms? That kind of construction would fit a wood elf much better and would diversify its habitat a lot more (civilized Bosmers live in mushrooms and wild Bosmers prefer marsh trees). Hi-Elves by their pompous nature would prefer more a Crystal city with some kind of very advanced architecture, almost futuristic with teleporter pads looking like almost flat diamond shapes.

Aerial cities should be made of the same glass as armors or the same metal as Aedric armors or again maybe a mix of both.

Dunmers (Dark Elves) should prefer ebony home with golden magical, kabalistic textures if they are civilised. On other hand, Ashlanders are the only one among Elves that are rightly fit to their wild environment.

The mechanical and metallic world of the Disappeared Dwarves is A-OK but there is no living version of that race. How about alive, caverns dwelling Dwarves of another kind, mostly into hi mountains with well preserved technologies (inoxydable Titanium or Mythrill maybe?).

Windows should be transparent (so you can see inside!) and NPCs should see you come by or going in.

How about races...

============

Magical Fays should be a must in Morrowind and to save time and memory space, they should be made out of only rescaled Nord females and only red haired or blondes for more realism. Wings should be transparent and like butterfly wings. They would be helpful, especially for informations and magical stuff to exchange or sell.

Well, that is all I can think at this moment but be sure I will have more ideas to bring up...

:grin: Morrowind is the greatest game I have ever had the privlege to play. I received my copy of the Collectors edition on may 02 2002 and The first thing I did was to glue the figurine of the Ordinator that came with it to the top of my computer Monitor. Then I took the 21" X 18" full color map of Vvardenfell and build a fancy Oak Frame for it . I then hung the map just to the right hand side of the Monitor so I could have it close at hand at all times. Then I loaded the game in my brand new computer that I bought just for Morrowind. I decided to upgrade to the new pent 4 with a new ATI 9600 Pro Graphic card. Top of the line at that time! Now that Oblivion is on the way it looks like I may have to upgrade again but Hopefully I wont need to do anything but add another Hard drive since I have filled my 80 Gig hard drive with 40 gigs of MOD's for Morrowind plus 15Gig more with my own TES MOD's that I've been to chicken to share and 100's of screen shots. :smiley:

Morrowind = Life.

As simple as that. I could spend hour's telling you how much I love that game but I don't have that much time. Morrowind is probally the most be interesting game's I have ever played... And that's saying something. All I can say "Viva Oblivion!!!" Can't Wait. But I'm gonna have to.

Its quite simple. Because they are greedy assholes:D . Its how most people in the world are. They think that if you use their idea they will lose money, even if the mods are distributed for free....

please don;t talk about what you don't know about.

Tolkien's estate were wonderfully helpful when it came to such ideas. the liscence to the use of his work in "electronic media" was sold by Tolkien back in the late 60's - long before the concept of a computergame existed.

Please dont assume it's all the usual "the man" and greed nonsense people spout.

Suzerain.
