Plugins txt for GOG Skyrim AE is missing.

I bought the new Skyrim AE on GOG, I'm looking in the place where the plugins.txt is supposed to be (AppData/Local/Skyrim Special Edition GOG), it isn't there. I could make one myself, but manually copying all the CC esp entries would be tedious.

Is there a way to get the game to generate a plugins txt? I need it to start installing mods.

%localappdata% does not exist on my entire C Drive. What does exist is the AppData/Local/ path, with a new folder for Skyrim Special Edition GOG.

For me Vortex Manger stores "loadorder.txt" and "plugins.txt" in "AppData/Local/Skyrim Special Edition"

I copied these files in to "AppData/Local/Skyrim Special Edition GOG" and mods are working.

EDIT: Of course, I have to copy these files after every mod change.

Only if you are using Vortex as a mod manager. Vortex is a prerequisite to play this game.

All I know is that when I asked a question about GOG AE in the GOG forum it was answered by Ice Mage and after answering my question he added. "And note that you'll need to use Vortex from Nexus Mods to install and manage mods." You are probably correct in saying that MO2 will be updated to support this game but I just stated what I knew at the time.
