Switch
lol u'd have 2 be pretty dumb 2 think its north england :P well i know its the northern part of the united kingdom on the same island as england is on duh... it's got lots of hills... and erm... its colder up there usually... there's a native language thats rarely spoken thats a bit like welsh and stuff... u get a lot more snow than we do down here in the south! and of course the capital of scotland is edinburgh. u have a native instrument called the bagpipes (how could i forget those... *shudder*) and of course the native dish, haggis! which i believe is either chunks of or mushed up meat in a sheeps stomach... i hope it tastes better than it sounds  also u have the traditional clothing the kilt which i think is usually worn during those processions with the bagpipes. personally ive never been to scotland so i dont know much about the landmarks etc :P aaannnndddd... i think thats about it if i was horribly ignorant at any point feel free 2 shoot me in the butt a few times :P

The_Reaper
but i will hunt down and kill anyone who says its north england. cos its notI have the same problems with my country, so i know how you feel :) I don´t know much, just that it has great and honourable people, a beautiful landscapeand a great history! :D ps: I don´t know why but americans and others seem to think that my country (Portugal) is a province of spain, and frankly i´m just getting tired of IT!! <_<
link
i love bagpipes too, they are brilliant, and Irn Bru is the greatest drink under the sun. Reaper, ive been to portugal and spain, and portugal is far better. they are friendlier and that seems to make the heat that much more bearable. link
i was at the highland games in arran at the weekend. was good and there is a good community spirit, as scots, we like our beer/iron bru, and anything is possible with one of those two drinks down your gullet (dont drink them together though, it is PAINFUL)
