WardenAI
I downloading mods as normal and everytime I apply a mod my ini edits resets, the mods I apply does'nt even change any ini settings but it keeps on reverting, so my temporary solution is to keep ini files up and resave them after every installment of mods. but I dont see why deploying or installing mods even does making it keep doing that, also I see no options to ignore my ini files. very frustrating. /thank you in advance. showler
Vortex checks your INI files and rewrites them all the time, but with the same information in a different order. If it is Vortex doing it, then the INI should have a note at the top indicating that Vortex made the change. If the note isn't there, then something else did it. Has no mod that makes changes to ini files, especially the fallout4.ini one, what happens if I remove the fallout4.ini.base file, does Vortex create a new one with current settings? showler
It will probably error out. And is completely unnecessary. If you can show that Vortex is altering entries in your INI, not just changing the order of the entries, report it as a bug. But you'll probably find it isn't doing that. Well the only instance it does change it is when deploying mod, so its definetly Vortex itself. It does'nt revert at any case if I dont install any mods. Have reported it as a bug now.
