1 Mod in the in-game mod list, 1 different mod in Vortex?

I've got the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch mod showing when I select MODS from the main menu in Fallout 4. I installed it from the menu there. Vortex only shows the HUD Plus Plus mod that I added drag-n-drop into Vortex. I can't tell if the Patch mod is operational when playing the game, but presumably if it is listed in MODS and is checked it is working. I can't see any evidence that HUD Plus Plus is recognized by Fallout 4. If it were installed correctly, would it show up in the MODS list in-game?

How do I make both work (or even just the HUD one)? I'm not sure what I did wrong or what I haven't done yet.

Everything, game included, downloaded today.

The in-game mod manager and Vortex use different methods of controlling mod enabling and aren't really compatible. It's best not to use both at the same time.

Pickysaurus created an extension for Vortex so that it can import and control mods from the in-game mod manager to get around this issue, but the better option would probably be to remove the Unofficial Patch from the in-game manager and download the version on the Nexus instead. That way Vortex will have full access and control over both mods.
