Game crashes after starting new game

i got the GOTY edition for fallout 3 for free in epic but now everytime i try to play, i create a new game, the transition gets stuck and the game closes

i've tried almost everything that is on youtube, and it still didn't work

Does anyone know how to fix this error?

When i try to make a new game, the loading screen slides in but before it can cover the whole screen the game freezes then closes, it doesn't say that it stopped responding, it just closes

I've tried changing settings in my computer, changing the resolution of the game, changing the graphic settings to low, nothing worked

I dont know how i can provide more info.

Ok this is what i managed to find:

 

11th Gen Intel® Core i5-1155G7 @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz

 

8.00GB of ram 7.65 usable ram

 

21H2 version of windows education 64 bits

 

1600 x 900 screen resolution

 

Intel® Iris® Xe graphics

 

30W TDP of VRAM according to google

 

96Gb left

 

It is a laptop

 

i got it through epic

 

GOTY edition so all dlc's

 

it crashes if i try to run it without dlc's and if i do, i cant even get to the first loading screen

 

i know a friend who was able to run it

 

Does someone know how to fix it

You could try deleting the Fallout 3 INI file and let the game make a new one.

 

Or see if there is an update for your graphics drivers.

 

A quick google search indicates it might be the Intel graphics that is causing it.
