Shakkara
See title. What EXACTLY does luck affect? Any tables with effects I could see?
Pob
I think luck influences things like how often you hit/get hit and stuff like that (its descriptor is "it effects everything you do"). May also influence how NPC's react to you and what random treasure you get in things like crates and barrels. Not certain though its all abit vague lots of luck
Stampede
I think you've pretty much summed it up Pob. The game says it effects every action you take (walking excluded I think, unless you find that difficult) It definitely has an effect on the loot you find. A level 1 character with high luck can end up finding enchanted weapons in the barrels and crates in Balmora and if anyone has ever fought Gaenor they'll know what high luck can do for someone. miltonic
Luck is hard to build up in the game. Every Time I level I make sure I add a point into luck because I know if I dont, my high level character will be high in everything else but my luck will suck. Hey, that ryhmes. I'm not sure if you guys have ever played Fallout, but having high Luck in that game was fun, and it was apparent when you had it :D
Rune
Luck is really useful in determining your success in picking locks and untrapping chests.

miltonic
The think I liked most about fallout was the ability to talk your way out of things But what exactly did high luck in fallout, never think I had high luck there... High Luck in Fallout increased your critical hits by a big percentage along with how Npc's would react to you, but the cool thing was all the crazy random events you would run into. If you didn't have high Luck, you'd never come across the alien space ship crash site. You could find an alien energy weapon that was a very good weapon among other cool events. It was just an incentive to try a character with high luck, the replayability in that game wa incredible.
