Akrham
Hi all Thank you for reading this post. I have a question regarding Immersive citizens, AI overhaul, while I am in the process of rebuilding from scratch my modlist (my previous attempts were highly imbalanced and prone to ctd, I am trying again using "the method" The Method | Tome of xEdit (tes5edit.github.io)) I have just installed "Immersive citizens-Ai Overhaul" and have just checked that it has some minor conflicts with both USSEP and Alternate Start, is anyone able to tell me if there are compatibility issues between these mods? Do I need to create patches for them with xedit? On the nexus there are none and, on the mods' description pages, there are no indication that there should be any sensible conflicts between these mods. However, I would like to share opinions and idea with more people, instead of just keeping my doubts to myself. Does any-one uses these three mods together (USSEP-AS/LAL-ImCit)? To your knowledge, do they tend to work well together? Or do you need to create a patch? Thank you for your kind answers!
7531Leonidas
If I recall correctly, most of the conflicts arise from AI packages that can cause disturbances. I think that I once had IC installed, and got tired of trying to find ways to sell my loot off/complete quests and cutscenes when the merchants/targets were hiding from the rain, or wandering to one of the alternate locations specified by their adjusted AI packages. There were some patches found in patch compendiums, I believe. Do an internet search using the three titles and see.
showler
Also keep in mind that conflicts in xEdit aren't always conflicts. If USSEP fixes a script error and IC modifies that script but also fixes the error in the process, it will show as a conflict but isn't really one

I have checked properly both on-line and the conflicts. I think I may have found a step forward. I don't think I need patches between the three mods, because, by adjusting the load-order (with tips found online by searching all three mods together, thanks leonidas) and by checking properly the "conflicts" (thanks showler), I have been able to move away most of the conflicts and left mostly only similar strings between the three mods. Thank you kindly good gentlemen, it has been a very informative session and I have learned something new.
