vortex <> firefox.

learm to tell the difference between a browser and a mod manager.

Learn how Vortex's browsing and installing mods works.

You can only browse and install stuff on Nexus from the website using your browser.

Yes, I know the app will download and install it, not your browser.

But you can only tell Vortex what to download through the website, and not directly from the app.

I can view my collection just fine if I'm not logged in.

So it's not my browser either.

Might want to clear your cookies or something. Your collection appears to work for me.

I tried that using Firefox's "forget this site"

asked me to log in, and once reloaded goes back to the problem.

And it's not unique to my pc, because it does this with every browser I'm logged into Vortex on.

i think what you mean to say is that its not unique to firefox rather than unique to your system.

i can tell you that i can get to that collection webpage with no issues (apart from feeling the need to bathe in bleach after loading it), so there's something in your BROWSER that's stopping the page from loading on your system. nothing at all to do with vortex.

i'd check to see what tinfoil hat addons you've loaded up and look to disable some/all of them.

Vortex does not get involved until you click the "Add to Vortex" button.

If your problem is happening before that, then you should not be asking about it in a Vortex support forum because the problem is either with your browser or an issue with your account on Nexusmods.com. Since you can see it when you're logged out, it seems like it might be a problem with your account. Either that or Firefox's "forget this site" option does not actually clear all the relevant cookies.

You should probably try manually removing all the cookies that include the word "nexus" to ensure that you are starting clean.

But, more importantly, you should move this conversation to the "Feedback, suggestions and questions" forum since it appears that Vortex is not even involved in your problem and therefore nothing about your problem can be fixed in Vortex.
