Mods Tab - Buggy UI

Some feedback around the Mods tab. There is a UI bug and overall Vortex could really benefit from some changes and options for mod management.

Vortex v1.6.14

In the Mods tab, if the Archive Name column is enabled, it randomly resizes the Mod Name column width super wide. Scrolling makes it auto adjust smaller, then waiting a few seconds will cause it to readjust wide.

Honestly, instead of auto resizing the columns, why is there not a resize bar that we can grab to manually resize the columns instead? Something like excel columns that we can set our own width for, would be perfect.

So why can't I just disable the archive column? The reason I need the archive column open is because I was trying to use it as a workaround to organize my mods. If I change the start of the archive name, I can group various mods together that I want grouped if I sort by archive name. This is a workaround because Vortex currently does not have any way to organize all installed mods. I have over 130 mods installed into Cyberpunk and I cannot make folders in Vortex. I cannot edit the category, or the mod name. I even tried grouping mods by using collections and while I can install all mods in a collection at once, it does not visually group them and it also deletes the collection if I uninstall it. It does not help. Please please please add some sort of organization feature. I want to be able to tag the mods that Nexus is tracking or put them into folders or rename them with an alias or something.

You can disable the column with the settings gear in the top-right of the table. Your custom theme might obstruct this though.

Grouping mods can be done with the Group icon in the column headers (if applicable).

To change mod meta data, double click the table entry to open the info sidebar and make the changes there.

You can reveal the "Tracking" column as described in my first point.

Unfortunately it's an either or. Either we have all columns auto-resize or they all have a fixed size that you can/have to manually adjust, I don't think we can have them auto-adjust until you choose to resize some. We had to pick one or implement both and then have a toggle somewhere.

With columns toggleable and large variation in content width (mod names, categories, archive names) I suspect it would be very frustrating to try to manually find a reasonable width you're happy with and near impossible to provide sensible defaults so we did the auto-resize first and stuck with it so far.
