For Fallout New Vegas there's a mod called Wasteland Clothing Hires Retexture. It essentially retextures all outfits except for the NCR, Legion, and Heavy Armors. I'm looking for a mod that does the same thing in Fallout 3. Does such a mod exist?

Isn't that an overhaul with completly new weapons and armors? Can you use the texture alone?

I'm looking for two mods that I must not know the correct terms to search to find them for Fo3 or if they even exist for Fo3.

The first is the Fallout 3 version of the Decorator Assistant type mod. I've had versions of it for both Oblivion and Skyrim and am hoping a version exists for Fo3.

The other I hope to find is a mod (or mods) that let you claim existing places within the game as your home. Clearing out vault 106 and making it your own for example...ideally with the ability to clean it up and upgrade it.

#1- Feng Shui: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/11532/?

#2- Once existed (Owned) but was removed a couple years ago when its author moved on. Google will take you to a French version.

As long as that mod is only meshes/textures, it will work in Fallout 3 too.

Sorry, but that is not what I'm looking for. The mod I was referring to just RETEXTURES the following items:

Raider Armor.

Pre-war outfits

Grimy Pre-War Outfits

Dirty Pre-war outfits

Roving Trader Outfit.

Wasteland Outfits

All Headgear

I already have mods that RETEXTURE the following:

Combat Armor

Combat Helmet

Talon Company Combat Armor

Talon Company Combat Helmet

Rivet City Security Armor

Rivet City Security Helmet

Tenpenny Security Armor

Brotherhood Power Armor

Brotherhood Power Helmet

Brotherhood Outcast Power Armor

Brotherhood Outcast Power Helmet

T-51B Power Armor

T-51B Power Helmet

Wasteland Clothing Hires Retexture was made for Fallout New Vegas, I'm a little worried about downloading and installing that mod in Fallout 3.

Edit: I just noticed in the comments section on the mods page that the mod author is working on a port of Wasteland Clothing Hires Retexture for Fallout 3.

Are you sure that this is the correct file path? It doesn't seem to be working.

I'm sorry this is getting to you so late. I'm in the process of revovering from acute bronchitis. Now that I have an internet connection that's not my cell, I will unpack the BSA and take a look at it again, going to be a while though. Between the meds and the coughing fits it's hard to get anything done right now.

I asked here for a mod who add a selector to aim with and without scope (when using scoped weapons), in first and third person. IE: using the sniper rifle as sniper itself, or as the hunting rifle, only pressing a key. Is there already a mod that does this?

And don't need to be compatible with iron sights because I prefer 3rd camera.

No worries. I hope you feel better. Thank you again for your efforts and I will wait patiently for your reply.

If anyone wants the Owned! 3.0 mod, email me:

rkent27(at)gmail(dot)com

I will send it as soon as I am able. Shame for such an essential mod to be lost. I tried to host it on Nexus but I am not the creator, nor can I contact them. =\

  • 1 month later...

Is there a mod that changes the skills in-game to be like New Vegas, with Big Guns and Small guns merged into "Guns", the Survival Skill, and various weapons re-tooled to work off of those skills (Missile Launcher = Explosives, Flamer = Energy Weapons, etc)?
