nani17
So around a month ago I bought a new m.2 for my main drive. Fallout 4 was installed on a separate SSD which was and still is in my system. Since changing my m.2 the game just crashing to desktop even though I haven't touched the SSD it was installed on. I still have the same save I still have the vortex folder on that drive and I have also updated the F4SE to the most recent version and I still get the same problem. In fact I also made sure the drive letter was the same when installed windows on my new m.2 Edited December 16, 2022 by nani17

StormWolf01
When you reinstalled the OS, did you keep the same name for the computer, and the same name for the primary administrator? I am highly willing to bet that the game isn't recognizing the files saved in your save game folder. :( Try removing ALL the savegame files out of there temporarily. Cut and Paste them to a different folder.Test it again on a brand new character and see if game will load.If it does, then put the files back, and test again on the test char.
