MDRud216
"offers a new hope for the RPG, and may well signal the arrival of the next sea change in the genre." I don't know if I am just naive and don't know the alternate meaning to this statement, or the sea (I thought Cydroill was inland) play a major part in upcoming Oblivion. What do you guys think? Peregrine
Sea change = literary reference (I forget to what exactly), it just means "massive change". They're predicting Oblivion is going to be a significant evolution in RPG design, that's all.
Twitchmonkey
They could just mean "sea of change" which I would translate to as a great deal of change. However, I do believe Cyrodil does border an ocean (or other large body of water) so I'd be very suprised if it didn't play some part in Oblivion. MDRud216
hey, so this thread isn't a total waste, even though this may have been covered, how do they handle land borders to Tamriel? You notice that there are sections of coastline but they are all seperated from eachother?

Those are handled with a message saying youve gone too far out when you've reached the border.
