How do i create books with text?

Tried several things, and books are blank when i open them in-game. any help?

Did you set a font? My recommendation is to copy the HTML of another book, and use that as a base. ( I THINK it's html!)

The easiest way is to edit an existing book. Change the object ID and title (weight and value if required), then delete the existing book text between the formatting tags, and enter your own text instead, keeping the formatting tags where needed.

 

When you save, you will be asked if you want to create a new object with the new ID - choose 'yes'.

Yes, it is basic HTML.

 

The only thing you need to do when manually creating a new book is to make sure there's a <BR> at the end of the text. If there isn't one the entire block gets deleted for some crazy reason. :tongue2:

 

You also need to use <BR><BR> whenever you want to start a new paragraph.
