I can log in but I can't download anything to save my life. it keeps retrying before throwing an error.

Anyone still having problems, try logging into the website first. Then NMM should load up.

Was finally able to log on but when I check for new Mod Updates NMM does not give a new update version for those mods that have new versions available. Using 0.45.7. Also after adding a mod the Version and Latest Version columns for that mod are blank.

Slowly but surely, your upsets me is just amazing! I'm glad I'm not a Premium member. The Nexus is by far the least reliable portal what I know. Not a day without interference and endless attempts to login.

Still not working for me, and can't log on to the NMM. Also All of my tracked files are no longer tracked and most links take me to the homepage for the all files section

Although the Nexus is not without some of its own faults, particularly in cases like this where large portions of the entire system are overhauled, I cannot say that what you speak of is common, now or in all the years I have been on this site. If you are having connection issues, it usually lies with either your ISP, or with how your computer is setup to handle session data.

 

Despite being a moderator on this site, I don't get any special connection priority over anyone else. I still occasionally get pages that refuse to load or which get timed out because the network is under heavy strain (usually some dipshit kiddy trying to DDOS), but you get that with virtually EVERY site on the internet.

 

So just sit tight, read a book or something, and understand the fact that the little bit of inconvenience here will mean greater capability in the future. Over the last year the site's coding and framework has changed quite dramatically leading up to this consolidation, so most of the big changes are already behind us.

Downloading issues:

If you are having issues downloading files manually, make sure that the server you are trying to download from is not listed as synching that file. It cannot give you the file until it has obtained it and right now synching seems to be a it slow. Your safest bet right now is to get files from the Kent server if you have that option. All the mods are stored there and it is the primary source. If you are premium you can use the Kent server but when I last checked there were a lot of people using Kent, so it may be a bit of a wait. I did just download a new file Skyrim mod directly from Kent manually, without any issues. I also managed to download the same file in NMM but it took awhile to download and guess which server provided it? Yep. Kent. Those of you who cannot use the Kent server may need to wait until the other servers are done synching, but at least you can check the status by starting a manual download to see which servers are synching, and whether there is anyone on various servers. Then you can just cancel out. If nobody is using a server, chances are that server is not currently available. I think most of them are currently engaged in synching with the Kent server.

I have to say for the amount of traffic and files you guys got up and running I give you all kudos for maintaining and keeping the site up and running as smoothly as possible! I gladly wait around for you guys to finish doing maintenance for days if it means the site will keep going! Awesome job to all on the Nexus!
