Going manually to downloads has spurred an idea for a play through and some manual mod organization is paying off well for space on my hard drive. Thanks for everything. You are right there are some drawbacks to manual downloads with NMM but why not post your concerns in the NMM forums they love to take ideas and suggestions there. I am pretty sure if the mod is fomod ready NMM when it imports and installs it will keep it maintained but not all mods are. Wont really be that hard to update them manually with a simple button click or just re-download them.
