Vortex Deleted all my mods

Just had this happen to my, while trying to reinstall a collection, so i selected all my currently active mods, hit "remove" without checking the "also delete archives" box and after i realised it just deleted the whole download folder, which shouldnt happen at all. So i just lost about 4000 mods from 5 different collections over 4 games. This sucks a lot.

What you described simply isn't possible. At worst you would've deleted all mods from one game, Vortex doesn't have a view that shows all mods from all games and lets you remove them all at once.

i'd be interested to know where you had your various mods folders set up. your post lacks any detail at all, and if you know how the program functions, what you describe is 100% impossible.

so, please, indulge us with some details.

where were your mods folders located.

where is your vortex set up located.

where is your downloads folder located.

what games were affected.
