majskolven
Yo I am experiencing a problem with fallout 3. All of a sudden a get a bluescreen when I play the game and the computer restarts. It seems to be completely at random cuz it can happen anywhere and at anytime, dosn't matter what I am doing. Havn't experienced this problem with any other game and when it crashes I feel like doing this: :wallbash:
phoneyLogic
Have you clocked your card or something? What is your system, driver, patch?
Deleted54170User
I have 3.0 GHz CPU, duo nVidia 8600 GT, and lots of RAM in my computer and it does that with only Fallout 3 too.I would like an explanation too. There is no cooling problem, I played Crysis without a BSoD, a CTD, or anything for hours. Some weekends I played Crysis until I was falling asleep in my chair. Wandik
how can man fall asleep while playing crysis? raise your difficulty.. :D from my experience, BSODs are mostly made by memory leaks or texture bugs... and they are mainly connected to unpatched games, and old incompatible drivers... @majskolven: do you play vanilla FO3, or some maods /DLCs ? Deleted54170User
how can man fall asleep while playing crysis? raise your difficulty.. :D It was easy. I played the game for nearly twelve hours taking intermittent breaks for refreshments. When I realized it was almost sun up that Sunday I parked my character in a safe place and closed my eyes for a minute. I was just going to rest for a minute, but... I woke up just before noon and had brunch. One thing to note was, "I only got BSod's when my DSL modem was on." I turned it off after a couple experiments to find out what was causing the BSoD's and played Fallout 3 in the Standard mode all night long." So what does having the DSL modem on while playing the game suggest could be happening? Modem interference, of some sort, maybe? 6:42 PM MDT OH! OH! That virus scanner calls in for updates at 3:00 AM. Ha! Ha! What a world. So now I have to set my Virus Scanner up so it wont spoil my game too.
