Beginner's Question - Why is Cyberpunk 2077 failed to launch from Vortex even with all mods disabled?

Hello Nexus Mod community,

Need an assistance please. I am now starting to mod Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time ever. So, I have downloaded and installed Vortex Mod Manager, linked my Nexus Mod Manager account to Vortex, selected the game as per the screenshot, setup the deployment directory, downloaded and installed 1 hair mod. When I launched the game from Vortex, it showed a flatline. Then, I disabled the mod and launched the game from Vortex. It still crashed. Please do advise what am I missing here.

 

Mod folder and game folder are located at the same D drive. When the game is launched not from Vortex, it can launch okay.

Here are my directories:

Game Folder: D:\Epic Games\Cyberpunk2077

Mod Folder: D:\Epic Games\Cyberpunk2077

 

Mod Staging Folder: D:\Vortex Mods\Cyberpunk 2077 Mods

 

Anything wrong with the above directories setup? I don't seem to be able to alter the directories anymore.

CP2077 is a contributed extension. You might want to check on the extension web page.
