What is the best way to clean out all mods?

Do not use Vortex and the in-game mod menu at the same time. They have different and incompatible methods of handling mods. It's a sure way to mess things up.

So how do you FO4 mods like SA80 British mod? Some mods are not on Nexus. Second how do I only use one? Thank you to this community for helping me with this mess.

You can download them with the in game menu, but get the Vortex extension that allows Vortex to import Bethesda.net mods.

Then, importantly, once you've set up your mods in Vortex don't open the in game menu again before playing. If you do need to use it again make sure you go back to Vortex before playing.

Once you install this: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/120

your Bethesda.net mods (from the in game mod menu) will be added to Vortex and you'll be unsubscribed from them on Bethesda.net, so no need to remove anything yourself.

You can launch the game from the regular shortcut (or the F4SE shortcut if you are using F4SE). Vortex doesn't need to be running or anything.

Just don't go into the game open the in game mod menu and then immediately start playing. Vortex should be the last thing that was affecting your mods before you play. But as long as you don't use the in game mod menu then you won't need to go into Vortex every time.
