ArvidGreat
well maybe im just dumb for not understanding how this work but I did a new profiel for the first time thinking that now I could do a seperate mod list. So new profile new mod list but now I just have my 135 mods unabled in that new profile. Is there a way for me to remove all the mods and start fresh on that new profile and still allow the old one to be intact? I have never done a seperate profile before. If you dont understand wtf i mean. Just take a look at paradox games that allows you to make multiple mod lists totally seperate.
showler
Vortex will show you all the available mods in your download folder, but the mods you have ENABLED will be different for each profile.
jaydawg55
Unless you clone an existing profile, no mods will be enabled in any new profile you create right after you create it. Vortex will show you all mods you have installed on disk but they will all be disabled. Enable the ones you want to use under that profile. Then you can filter the view to display only enabled mods if you find see both enabled and disabled mods distracting. I use profiles to keep a vanilla list of save games available to import into another profile if I want to start a new playthrough that use different mods. For example, if I was using some kind of alternate start mod or a massive gameplay mod like Sim Settlements 2 I would have separate profiles for vanilla, alternate start, and Sim Settlements 2. Profiles are also handy for testing mods you might like to use regularly but do not want to risk screwing up your current play through if you change your mind.
