makmellow Posted May 17, 2023 Share Posted May 17, 2023 Hi guys, unfortunately I tried to add Metro via the game selector. Since then I've been getting the warning messages below. Pickysaurus Posted May 17, 2023 Share Posted May 17, 2023 For some reason Vortex is changing the extension version from 1.0.0 to 1.0 when installing the extension. The fix is to open %appdata%\Vortex\plugins find the metro 2033 folder, open the info.json and change the version number to 1.0.0. It's very strange... makmellow Posted May 18, 2023 Author Share Posted May 18, 2023 The folder does not exist with me. Vortex doesn't seem to know Metro anymore. I can't find any more info.json in the system related to Metro. I had installed Metro via Steam (maybe this has something to do with it?) and now uninstalled it to test it.
