Chompsies Posted June 21, 2023 Share Posted June 21, 2023 (edited) Vortex gives me this error when launching and Im unsure how to fix it, when I click give permission the error just pops up again, and ive manually went to the windowsapps folder to give myself permissions to open read and write. It says Vortex needs access to C;\ProgramFiles\WindowsApps\Microsoft.AlfaStevio_1.0.0.2_neutral_8wekyb3d8bbwe\appxmanifest.x...... Try running the game at least once before running Vortex, the DRM on that folder is a nightmare. its not when a launch a game, its when I launch vortex itself to just be at the dashboard this error pops up, so something odd is happening on vortex launch and not any game and I was unsure how to fix it. I completely uninstalled the 3 games i had a profile for which was Skyrim, fallout new Vegas, and oblivion, and I also completely uninstalled vortex just to reinstall it all to make everything fresh and that's when I got this pop up error and I cant use vortex.
