Stanhead
The reason I'm making this poll is because it has arisen to me that I may have a speech problem due to being on my computer all the time, and rarely having contact with real people. Lately I've started stuttering, and tripping over my own tongue, having to start my sentence again. :P Do any of you have any speech problems due to not being around, or speaking to, real people? Malchik
How could an actor have problems with speaking? Actually acting is supposed to be therapeutic to those with psychological speech disorders (I'm told) as you are not portraying yourself. May be mumbo jumbo of course. I don't believe you can get speech disorders from a computer. You may find relating to people difficult but surely you do have people to talk to at times - parents, friends, schoolmates and you can always talk to yourself. If you seriously wonder about it, my obvious (and unhelpful) response is get a life! Take up some form of exercise - Peregrine throws frisbees, Dark0ne throws socks, my sister throws pots and I throw tantrums (all actors have to, it's in the contract). Buy some plants and talk to them. Get a dog and teach it to do useful things, like steal the latest computer games from stores. Listen to the radio, pick up a few recorded books, sing along to your favourite bands, learn a language with tapes. And if all else fail - pick up a telephone and ring a large corporation asking to speak to their customer complaints department. By the time you get through you will be using very colourful language and very freely too. The fee for this advice should be put into a brown envelope and left behind the potted palm in Peacock Alley Waldorf Astoria Hotel New York USA. At passing Policemen!!! Muhahahahaha..... :laugh2: And the policeman would be like  and I'd be like "I'm gonna f*ck you up bumhat! Muhahahaha!". And you're saying that would fix my stuttering?
_Atti_
get a mic and play cs:) or read the dialogues of a good rpg loudly, play kotor with dark side character:) this way you both satisfy your insaneness and speak a lot:) but still the best would be forgeting the comp and go out on the street with some friends...well..just dont hurt anyone:P

Chaosmaker
I have problems sometimes. I can start talking about one thing then something pops up into my head and then I'll start talking about that. My friends tend to get annoyed of that. But then again most of them don't know because I spend so much time on the computer that most of them are online. But I'm not on 24/7. Switch
I occasionally trip over my tongue, but who doesn't? :P Apart from that I don't think I have any major problems when talking.
