wjason7777 Posted January 1, 2014 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Hello, Im a newbie. Watched all of Gopher videos on youtube and followed them to the "T". But im having problems trying to run 4gb, nvse and fake full screen at the same time just like in gopher video.The first error i was getting was "original exe modified executable headers failed" . I have a non steam version so i downloaded the 4gb nvse version. Now when I try to start the game im getting this error "the instruction at 0x656b57e7 refernced at 0x656b57e7. the memory could not be read" Im running Win8.1 pro 64bitIntel i965 3.2 6GB of ram.AMD HD7950 any help would be great Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It requires Steam no matter where or in what form you "purchased" it. 4GB is throwing that error because you are using a pirated version of the game. If you have indeed bought your copy through Amazon, you have most likely been conned, and you have bought a pirated copy (did you buy directly from Amazon, or used?).The only solution to fixing this issue, is to buy the game from a legit source, either directly from Amazon, or simply through Steam (Standard Edition: 9,99€ | Ultimate Edition: 19,99€).
