showler
Where'd you buy the game from? What version of F4se do you have installed?
rmm200
Also - how did you install F4SE?When these games give you an error message - usually believe it.Don't try playing until you fix this F4SE error.
aremmsoia
Download the latest F4SE version: Make sure you have downloaded the most recent version of F4SE that is compatible with your Fallout 4 game version. You can find the latest version on the F4SE website or a trusted modding community website. Extract the files: After downloading F4SE, extract the contents of the downloaded ZIP or archive file to your Fallout 4 game directory. The F4SE files should be placed in the same folder as the Fallout 4 executable (Fallout4.exe). Verify the installation: Double-check that the F4SE files are in the correct location and that you have not accidentally placed them in a subfolder or a different directory. Launch Fallout 4 through F4SE: To ensure F4SE is running correctly, you must launch Fallout 4 through the F4SE loader instead of the regular game launcher or any other shortcuts. The F4SE loader is usually named "f4se_loader.exe" or "f4se_loader" (without the quotes). Running the game through this loader will enable F4SE and allow your mods to work properly. Check for mod conflicts: If the error persists, it's possible that some other mods are conflicting with F4SE or causing issues. Try disabling other mods temporarily to see if the error goes away. If it does, you'll need to identify the conflicting mod and either update it to be compatible with F4SE or find an alternative mod. Update your mods: Ensure that all the mods you have installed, including the overhaul mod, are up to date and compatible with the version of Fallout 4 and F4SE you are using. Read mod descriptions: Some mods may require specific settings or additional configurations to work correctly with F4SE. Always read the mod descriptions and installation instructions provided by the mod authors. Edited August 6, 2023 by aremmsoia
