F4se not working properly

Hi new to modding fallout 4 and i have the overhaul installed and can play just when i talk to the npcs i get a big white box saying "F4se not installed properly or not installed" how do i fix that other than that its been my only issue.

Where'd you buy the game from? What version of F4se do you have installed?

When these games give you an error message - usually believe it.

Don't try playing until you fix this F4SE error.

Download the latest F4SE version: Make sure you have downloaded the most recent version of F4SE that is compatible with your Fallout 4 game version. You can find the latest version on the F4SE website or a trusted modding community website.
