What am I being charged for?

I was looking at my credit card statement today, and there is a charge as follows:

06/26/23 06/27/23 EXETER ENG 0789 $86.26

NEXUS MODS 49.99 GBP

I don't remember signing up for anything, and I don't recall giving my credit card information away. Can anyone explain to me what this charge is for? I did sign up for Vortex, as I was told I "must have it" for Planet Zoo. But AFAIK all it's done is take my money. I hope it's just a simple thing, like I let a free trial run out or something....

Thanks, Phyrie

You signed up for a Premium account rather than a free account. You can see your Premium status here on the forum.

I don't think there's any conceivable way you could have done so without entering your Credit Card information. It's pretty much the entire process for buying Premium status.

If you really didn't do so, best check the other people in your house.

As showler said and your status shows, you (or someone else in your vicinity) bought a premium membership. And 50 GBP is a quite sum, I must say - if it wasn't you, I think that someone in your house needs some scolding  . But more seriously, it isn't some trial period, according to docs of Nexus you will be charged periodically, after the period paid ends, another payment will be deducted and premium period will start again. Details on your membeship status can be seen in your Profile->Account Settings->Billing and according to docs you can stop another payments by clicking on "Stop Plan". After this yor Premium Membership should stop after the period you paid for.

If you want stop the Premium immediately, best to contact support first - Nexus is reserving 14 days period for canceling a Premium and you can be charged for every download by 5% of price in that time.

And "must have it" for Plane Zoo game? Who told you that? Yes, there are mods for this game too here, but apart the capped download speed, I don't recall any more restrictions for non-premium users.
